£3) available on the door. Enjoy an evening of classical
music by a variety of composers and musical instruments,
performed by local and international musicians. The
programme will include Debussy, Rachmaninov and
Mendelssohn and will be followed by light refreshments.
The proceeds are to be shared between GRACE and St John's
Farncombe

GRACE Annual Autumn Fair 2008 |

Congratulations to the whole team who ran another
successful Fair this year. A huge effort is involved in
organising and running the fair and every penny goes to
GRACE. Our thanks to the following: Caroline Wildman of
Tandem Catering, The Godalming Woolsack Rotarians for
parking services. The Hutley family for The Barn, parking
facilities and postage. Chris Haslam of Chess Disco for
the PA system. Coffee Charisma and Charles Warner for Loos
for Dos.
A very special mention to Aylwyn Thomas and her
'Marigolds' for her Herculean washing up efforts in the
kitchen - which she does every year. Pat Greenaway,

the recent Twinkling Stars 2008 Show At The Seacombe
Theatre 15th-25th October. The proceeds were shared
with the Roy Castle Cancer Fund. The show was a huge
success being sold out for most performances. |

| We would like to extend a big Thank
you to all at Caroline Charles in Angel Gate, Guildford,
for their hugely successful Fashion Show held at Gate
Street Barn, Bramley on Thursday 11 September. You raised
over £2,200 for GRACE. Thank you to everyone who came and
enjoyed the show and who bought raffle tickets and GRACE
products. Your generosity will help improve the treatment,
recovery and survival rate of women diagnosed with gynaecological

| Our thanks to Christian Charlesworth who ran
the Bristol Half Marathon for GRACE on Sunday 14
September. Christian ran the race in 1 hour 39 mins and
raised over £300. Well done and many thanks for putting
yourself through physical pain on behalf of GRACE. For

Ron Jimmison, of the highly respected
Cranleigh firm Ron Jimmison Electricals. Ron is very
generously donating to GRACE the charges he makes for
electrical work used by consecutive functions at Gate
Street Barn in Bramley.
Mrs Betty Francis. Also of Cranleigh. Betty very
kindly helped us out recently by filling over 2,000
envelopes with the Autumn Fair flyer and also labelled the
envelopes. We couldn't operate without people like Betty
who so generously offer their time to help. Thank you
Betty.
Mrs Bridget Stack - for the many large, small
and ingenious ways she raises money for GRACE and for the
energy and enthusiasm she puts into spreading the word to
friends and colleagues. Thank you Bridget for everything
